Project title: Alutaguse Adventure Park
MEASURE: Leader
Measure name: Leader measure
Theme: tourism
Keywords: adventure tourism
Start year: 2010
Local action group: LAG Peipsi-Alutaguse Chamber of Cooperation
Name of the beneficiary: NGO Mäekeskus
Sum of support: 31 956 EUR
Objectives of the project: To add more tourism produces in the area.
Main activities: 5 adventure trails of different levels of difficulty were established in Alutaguse Adventure Park. It includes 25 tasks which need accuracy and attention. The highest adventure trail is located 13 meters from the ground. The longest steel-rope-ride is 115 meters. The trails are between and on the trees. In addition to exercise trails there are other different and interesting trails with steel-rope-ride over the tube-trail and skiing trail.
Output and results indicators: The I stage of the project "Pannjärve Adventure Park" realized in 2011 fulfilled the expectations of the project initiators. It involved the stakeholders to promote the fresh-air activities in woods and participation in rural tourism. The number of visitors was also in accordance to expectations, two new jobs were created and they are currently working on establishing new trails.

It is also important to emphasize the indirect impact to Ida-Viru county's tourism, recreation economy and spare time activities and other management - namely the tourists are visiting the area more often because it will offer them something wonderful and new. The new adventure park is also good for visitors health and will promote healthy life-style through outdoor available services which could also influence the visitor's views on spending their free time in a more positive and healthier way.

NGO Mäekeskus is planning an expansion. They will establish a special trail for children and the longest rope-falling trail which would cross over a lake.
