Rural Economy Research Centre

Welcome to the Rural Economy Research Centre website!

The Rural Economy Research Centre  is a state agency administrated by the Estonian Ministry of Agriculture.

The Rural Economy Research Centre organises the necessary data collection to analyse the economic activity of the agricultural producers included in the Farm Accountancy Data Network (FADN) to process and analyse the data. The Rural Economy Research Centre performs the duties imposed on the FADN contact agency.

Departments of Rural- and Fisheries Network organises, collects, analyses and disseminates knowledge about the subject field and other events which are neccesary for the action and promotion of Rural- and Fisheries Network. It also acts as a supporting structure for the Leader-programme Local action groups (LAGs).

The Rural Economy Research Centre also performs the duties of the attestation body of proffesional qualifications and organises the work of the professional qualifications committe.
