Estonian NRN is very happy to inform that the 3rd LINC conference will be organised in South-Estonia on the 12.-14. June 2012.Meeting place and accommodation will be in Tartu (www.visittartu.com) and events around South-Estonia.
Registartion is open and please forward this information to all your LAG's and MA's!
For registration there should be teams of 3 participants. We will welcome teams of LAG's, NRN's or MA's. We expect about 300 guests.

What is LINC?
LINC wants to promote networking between European Leader areas in an innovative way. Also to promote transnational co-operation and to strengthen the European Leader’s thought.
“LINC” means: LEADER - Inspired - Network - Community
Among other things, the Conference in Estonia draws special attention to the relationships created through the Leader approach to volunteer work and introduces projects carried out using the Leader method in South Estonia.
You can exchange your experiences taking part of Theoretical and Practical Workshops in Tartu and South-Estonia.
LINC combines discussion workshops with sport events - so that the participants can network. Another tradition of LINC to bring and share regional food and have European Aperitiff buffet.
Workshops in the form of voluntary work in four South-Estonian regions:
The Onion Route
Culture of Russian Old Believers, Baltic-German culture, Estonian peasant culture. Community work at the Liiv Museum.
Valgamaa
Kivimäe Tourism Farm, Taagepera Handicraft Workshop. Community work at the Taagepera Handicraft Workshop with the substitute home and the nursing home of the Taheva sanatorium. Otepää: Tehvandi observation tower and skiing museum, energy column, Pühajärv.
Setomaa
Uue-Võhvi Centre, which was built with the support of the Leader programme. Community work at the Seto Farm Museum, and getting acquainted with the culture of the Setos. A viewing of the Värska skate park.
Võrumaa
Tsolgo Community Centre, which was funded by the Leader programme. Community work around the centre.

LEADER has improved the quality of life, strengthened regional identities and increased cooperation and networking in rural areas.
In the next programming period, the greatest challenges for LAGs will include creating jobs and developing entrepreneurial opportunities.
