ESTONIAN RURAL NETWORK: VIDEO „7. Meeting of Nordic-Baltic Rural and Fisheries Networks, 13 September 2011“

The 7. Meeting of Nordic-Baltic Rural and Fisheries Networks was held in Tallinn, 13-14 September 2011. Since 2008, Nordic and Baltic Rural Networks have met regularly twice a year. Also Fisheries Networks have had their meetings. Now, for the very first time Networks had common meeting in Tallinn, Estonia. The event was organised by Estonian Rural Economy Research Centre Department of Rural and Fisheries Network with cooperation of Estonian Ministry of Agriculture. Hans Bergström from Finnish Rural Network Unit, Hans-Olof Stalgren from Swedish Rural Network Unit, Edgars Linde from Latvian Rural- and Fisheries Network Unit and Rene Kusier from Danish Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries answered the following question: “What are the experience and lessons learnt from Nordic-Baltic networking?” Costas Kastrinakis, who is the Project Director of ENRD Contact Point answered the following question: ”What is the importance of regional clusters and why?” Mark Redman from Networking and Co-operation Team of ENRD CP answered the following question: “Are the activities of Nordic-Baltic Network visible from European level?” 7.
