Nordic and Baltic Rural Networks presented their activities in Estonia, in Jäneda, in big hall of Rural Economy Research Centre on Wednesday, 24 September 2008.

The main topics of the meeting: national and transnational cooperation and NRN ways to promote it, regional clusters, good practices, future plans networks and possible joint activities of Nordic-Baltic rural networks.

The meeting was organized by Estonian Rural Network Unit.

The seminar was participated by the representatives of Latvian Ministry of Agriculture, Latvian Rural Advisory and Training Centre (Rural Network Unit), Lithuanian Ministry of Agriculture (Rural Network Unit), Finnish-, Swedish-, Danish Rural Network Units, Estonian Ministry of Agriculture and rural- and fisheries network department of Rural Economy Research Centre (Estonian Rural Network Unit). The total number of participants was about 30 persons.
