Summary: | Handicraft brings together people despite culture and language. Handicraft is slow, local, traditional and curing but also universal and uniting. Some handicraft is more popular in one part of the world, some traditions live longer in another part. Craftsman always find it interesting to learn from each other and to do things together. This project introduces traditions from one part to the other and make people to refind their own traditions and learn new. An exchange of teachers and mentors is important in this project as well and teaching new (hopefully young) people the joy of handicraft, both traditional and more modern and new influences from the other country. |
