Summary: | Emigration, immigration and migration in usual in all countries today. But it has been the same many times in history. How can we help and understand moving people by studding history? Both from Sweden and Finland a lot of people left for USA in the late 19th century and beginning of 20 th century. This projects makes timetravels with pupils in school to those times to make them understand how you feel when arriving to a complete unknown country, language and culture. This will make the pupils understand the situation of people arriving from other countries and cultures. |
