Summary: | This project will provide craft makers in Finland and Ireland with opportunities to develop new techniques and skills and look at the use of different materials to adapt their current offerings of products or to create new products. The transnational co-operation project will also look at Marketing and Promotion of the craft makers work on both sides looking at new technologies and use of e-commerce, social media etc as avenues for promotion and selling of craft products. This cross fertilization of skills with makers from both countries and from different disciplines will provide a new platform for all craft makers. During the project, people gather to learn the skills of the partner country, with a focus on local, natural materials. By doing together and learning one can preserve old and accomplish something new; products suitable for the present day. |
