Summary: The “Forest Trails” projects aim is to diffuse a completely new concept of forest therapy tracks and the multisided use of forest in Europe. In Ikaalinen, Finland was developed a special concept of forest tracks which has been studied in its psychological and physiological effects in university level. The track contains several exercises which must be done with certain intervals (timing) in the forest. Within the transnational collaboration the scope is to diffuse this unique track idea and increase also the possibility to healthier live for persons also in different countries as well in Finland. The multiple use of forest property and areas can promote also the rural tourism as well the sustainable use of forests and other economical aspects.
