Summary: | LOCAL FOOD FOR THE LOCAL DEVELOPMENT is a two-year transnational LEADER project aiming at 1. Exchanging the best practices related with food-based local and regional branding 2. Identifying ways to generate added value for the whole food chain on the basis of local food trend 3. Establishing a transnational network of “local food actors” between the partner regions and offer these actors an opportunity to learn from each other 4. Organising or visiting existing local food fairs and markets and producers (offering something unique or innovative in terms of organisation, interaction with the local community or by some other means – best practices to be transferred) in each partner territory. 5. Adding consumers’ knowledge on local food, its producers and production processes. |
