Conference "European Day with Leader"

Rural Economy Research Centre in cooperation with Ministry of Agriculture and Estonian Leader action groups organize a conference "European Day with Leader" on the 9th May 2012.

The event will be held in the glass hall of Tallinn Song Festival Grounds.

The aim of the conference is to present the result of Estonian Rural Development Plan 2007-2013 Leader measure implementation, to look ahead and to introduce the impact of Leader approach to other Ministries and interested parties. The conference is necessary while looking to the next programming period opportunities on implementing the Leader method more wider than currently.

The target-group (in addition to the fore-mentioned) of the seminar are the rural entrepreneurs and representative organization, up to 300 participants in total.

 

Everybody who are interested in rural development, the representatives of other Ministries, rural governments, regional development centres, local governments and LAGs, cooperation partners of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Network, the Press and other organizations whose work is related to EL supports management are invited to the conference.

The conference allows an opportunity to meet directly with the Leader-measure project implementers, representatives of LAGs, to see the video-stories and receive different information materials.

It is planned that all the 26 LAGs are represented on the event with 3-5 project implementers.

We show to present the diverse range of opportunities of Leader measure implementation - namely common activities, local food, rural entrepreneurship, agriculture, cooperation projects, different networks and social development promoting projects about spare time and youth or other projects necessary for concrete area's needs and development.

 

The working language of the conference is Estonian.

The Leader conference will be available on-line at the web-site of Rural Economy Research Centre.
