Backround of the project: A long-awaited extreme-sport ground was established in Värska municipality in former mazut container of central boiler house in summer 2005. It was called Värska Skate Park. It was visited regularly by youth from local area and surrounding municipalities and counties. But thanks to the numerous visitors most of the ramps were abrased and amortized for spring 2009. Young people couldn't practice there any-more and they went to look for some spicy experiences elsewhere. On the view of youth interests and local area's development they had to find a solution for the problem. They purchased more lasting and qualifying constructions of extreme-sport ground where youngsters could practice different types of extreme sport, organize sport-events, share experiences, find new friends and followers and could spent their time actively despite the weather.

c) to offer sporting activities in indoor rooms.
- young people can spend their spare time more actively and to do sports;
- the area is now more attractive for youth from local and surrounding areas;
- youngsters now have a place to meet and share experiences;

The project gave an opportunity to youngsters to spend their spare time in indoor rooms and to do extreme sport. The popularity of extreme sport has raised in the area and the fact is proved by media reflection.

Young people have an opportunity to create new contacts and to make new friends with those who are not local. This project gave a push to start other projects related to the Skate Park and this in turn helps to develop the local area.

The local area is now more attractive to young people so they don't want to leave the area to find different entertainment. The longer term aim is to stop local people to move away from the area.
