| Backround of the project: | The idea to start the project Youth Idea Cafe was born on compiling Rõuge parish youth-work annual development plan for 2009. It was understood in the working groups, that there is a need to address and consult local young people to deal with enterprise. There was also a specific house that needed renovation and with help of different funds the project Youth Idea Cafe became operative. |
| Objectives of the project: | Objective of the project is to increase the entrepreneurship of young people and create good environment by youth initiative and with close cooperation with young people, that gives them possibility to develop their innovative ideas about entrepreneurship. |
| Main activities: | with the help of Leader they got the necessary equipment to start the Idea Cafe (tent, computer, furniture etc.) Within this project came about trainings about entrepreneurship for local youth, raising awareness among them, created the web-page and started many other interesting activities. Every week in Idea-tent there are different performances and chat rooms. There are youth-instructors who daily consult and support the youngsters. They created the Võru county youth work market web-page. It is an environment, where youngsters who want to find a job for the summer can meet with the entrepreneurs, organizations or summerhouse owners, who needs extra hands for season-jobs. |
| Output and results indicators: | As a result of this project about twenty young pupils has got experience in entrepreneurship and got practical skills how to bring their ideas in life. |
