| Backround of the project: | When whilom biggest quail-farm ended its operating, it have had many different owners. But 3-4 years ago it was bought by Ltd Lõuna Ehitus. They decided to establish an amusement park there, because there wasn't any family-parks in South-Estonia. It applied support from Leader programme to build and buy equipment. In Vudila there are trampolines, climbing frame, children pools and sky-jump. Also there is a possibility to drive ATV-s, water-wheels and boats and to play paint-ball. |
| Main activities: | Purchasing some attractions: trampoline/obstacle-trail, small trampolines, swings, slide, sand-box and playground for infants, Sky-jump bungee-trampoline, children’s trampoline, children’s electrical cars, different water-boats, 3 waterwheels, 4 paddle boats, micro-pool with slide; establishing 18 mini-golf trails; accomplishing some landscape-works; compiling project documentation of water-attractions. |
| Output and results indicators: | Thanks to the playground opening in 1 June 2010 many young families visited the Jõgeva county and this in turn raised the sales in many enterprises (including positive impact to Elistvere Animal Park and Palamuse Parish School). 10-15 young people from Tabivere municipality were working in the playground in summer who had the opportunity to gain some working experience and earn salary. The work was executable and intriguing - so their summer was interesting. Beside that many local families had the chance to offer entertainment near their homes and with reasonable prices to their children who maybe couldn't afford working away from home. |
| Experiences/lessons learned: | The strength of the project is strong and clear vision by entrepreneurs and accomplishing it. Besides that the playground is a nice place to take your acquaintances, friends and those who have a little bit of childishness in their minds. Vudila playground is awarded of Jõgeva county's Good Tourism Maker 2010. Even Vudila works actively only in summer months, people can enjoy different projects during rest of the year (Christmas Land, Vudila's Silver Fish, theatres etc.) |
