| Backround of the project: | Project was started by the need to deal with developing the organisation, providing new challenges and experiences. The project comprises many extra parts - singing camp, performing costumes - but these were the aspects which supported the aim to participate in festival. Festival took place from 1-4 June in Freamunde city center near Porto at north Portugal. They performed with two programme and one free-programme, all together 18 songs - most of them were Estonian old legacy. Choir got the 4th place of cleric programme, many useful contacts, inner development, got many new experiences and acknowledge. Project will end in autumn - giving out a CD. In further perspective it is planned to invite some foreign choir they met in Freamunde festival to perform in their region. Thereby the local people can also enjoy choir music of different nationalities. |
