MINISTRY OF RURAL AFFAIRS: Conference on Regenerative Agriculture

Time: 17.11.2021

Place: YouTube

Sihtgrupp: All interested parties

We are facing changing climate conditions and declining biodiversity, as well as changed expectations for food production. We therefore need new economic models based on the well-being of society and the protection of the environment.

At a conference on Wednesday, November 17, starting at 10 a.m., you'll learn how regenerative agriculture can help businesses increase their profitability and vitality through a holistic approach to production. We’ll take a closer look at issues such as soil health, the ability of soils to sequester carbon, plant nutrition and metabolism, agroecology and nature-based solutions.

We invite to the conference innovative and forward-looking farmers, people dreaming about farming, policy makers, informed consumers and anyone who cares about the environment and quality local food.

The conference will take place via Zoom. We will email the zoom link to the registrants before the conference. In addition, the event can be watched live on the Rural Network's YouTube channel.

To participate in the conference, the registration form must be completed no later than November 15.

Additional information: Merili Simmer, Land Use Policy Department of the Ministry of Rural Affairs (merili.simmer@agri.ee, tel. 625 6234).

The event is organized by the Ministry of Rural Affairs and the Agricultural Research Center.
