AGENDA SWG SCAR AKIS 5 - 13th Meeting
Budapest, Hungary, 25 and 26 October 2022

This SCAR SWG AKIS will be the 12th meeting of the 5th mandate endorsed by the SCAR plenary in December 2018. The meeting will be hosted by the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), Lugo.

Its specific role is to discuss the following topics defined in the 5th mandate:

1. AKIS policies at national and EU levels feeding further EIP synergies
2. Achieving greater Impact of the Multi-Actor Approach (MAA) implementation in EU AKISs
3. The role of education in the EU AKIS

 This meeting will develop in particular the following topics:

CAP AKIS strategies in the MS and EIP-AGRI

• Recent developments and discussion
• Exchange on MS’ Past and current experiences/best practices with Operational Groups (OGs), including what they plan in their CAP plans 2023-2027
• SWG AKIS in the Balkan region: developments and discussion on interaction

Achieving greater impact of the Multi-Actor Approach (MAA) implementation in EU AKISs

• Thematic networks call 2021, starting soon: BROILER-NET; B-THENET, and Grazing4AgroEcology

Training and Education: innovative approaches for advisory training & enabling environment

• Farm demonstration projects: Nefertiti, IPM-works, and Climate Farm Demo
• Vocational education and training for sustainable and resilient agriculture (info and discussion on the event planned for November 2022)

Following topics will also be addressed:

• The 5th mandate final report
• Outline of the social innovation part of the final report - discussion
• Topic and the location/hosting of the forthcoming (14th) meeting
