Agricultural Research Centre

The Agricultural Research Centre is a state agency administrated by the Estonian Ministry of Rural Affairs.

The Agricultural Research Centre organises the necessary data collection to analyse the economic activity of the agricultural producers included in the Farm Accountancy Data Network (FADN) to process and analyse the data. The Agricultural Research Centre performs the duties imposed on the FADN contact agency.

Departments of Rural Network Department organises, collects, analyses and disseminates knowledge about the subject field and other events which are neccessary for the action and promotion of Rural- and Innovation Network. It also acts as a supporting structure for the Leader-programme Local action groups (LAGs).

The Agricultural Research Centre also performs the duties of the attestation body of proffessional qualifications and organises the work of the professional qualifications committee.
