THE AIMS of Summer seminar:

Information: To disseminate relevant information (opportunities for cooperation of rural- and fisheries networks, mutual informing and introduction)

Inspiration: To learn from each other good practices in relation to concrete topics and challenges

Involving: To present the culture and food of each region to each one and to participate on sport competition

The seminar was participated by more than 200 developer of rural area from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Finland. The working group concentrates on presenting projects about entrepreneurship, community development, joint activities, rural tourism, nature environment, local culture and youth which have received support from Estonian Rural Development Plan 2007-2013 Leader measure and European Fisheries Fund 2007-2013 fisheries areas sustainable development measure. 

The seminar is organized by rural- and fisheries department of Rural Economy Research Centre

Working groups

Every working group is based on World Cafe method and the participants present and discuss the projects that have received support from Leader- and fisheries areas sustainable development measure. The project presentations were followed by group discussions to choose the best project of each 7 category and to renew the project idea with the thoughts from World Cafe. At the end of the day the renewed projects will be presented to all participants of seminar.

Almost every LAG has chosen some interesting projects to present - 22 in total.
