International Events of 2016

• LEADER introduction seminars in Moldova

The main topic of the seminars: The seminars can help local Moldovan authorities, entrepreneurs and civil society to exploit the Estonian LEADER experience in order to strengthen their rural development role and capacities.

The seminars was organized by: Moldova Foreign Policy Association and Estonian Rural Network Unit

• The 4th lecture from the series "Researcher's view of the Community Led Local Development" with Prof Michael Woods "Rural Development in a Global Countryside"

The main topic of the lecture: This lecture will examine the challenges and opportunities for rural development resulting from globalization, and discuss how initiatives such as LEADER can help rural communities to define their own future in an increasingly global countryside.

•  The Open Farm Day study-trip 2016 for international partners

The main topic of the study-trip: Programme will consist of visit to different kind of farms: small and big, milk production and alternative farms. We hope that the study tour will offer a good and realistic picture of rural life in Estonia.

• Seminar "Nationwide Rural Actions"

The main topic of the seminar: It gives possibility to meet with organisators of different events. Possibility to hear presentations and share experiences of organising different regional or national actions.

• LEADER Transnational Cooperation Fair and LAG TOURS 2016
  

The main topic of the seminar: The event aims to promote LEADER Cooperation.

• ELARD Conference Renewing LEADER/CLLD for 2020+ "Celebrating 25 years of LEADER in Europe”
